Responsibilities:
- Operate robotic systems to fulfill orders; document & resolve any exceptions or errors which occur
- Assist with assembling, installing, or modifying mechanical parts, low voltage electrical, and pneumatic parts for use in automation/robotic systems
- Maintain safe and presentable work environment by proper housekeeping, cable management, and other organizational structures
- Perform light preventive maintenance on automation and robotic systems. (i.e. Cleaning sensors, oiling, greasing, etc)
- Assist with robotic system startup and shutdown procedures and documentation of the procedures
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems
- Save relevant log data and perform analysis on data to suggest possible solutions
- Assist engineers and technicians with acquiring tools, internal orders, and parts from the warehouse
- Perform 3D prints and the post processing duties
- Communicate effectively & create straightforward documentation for procedures and issue resolution
- Communicate to vendors/integrators with relevant information
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Required to obtain certification in modeling software within 1 year of start date
- Must have experience with low voltage wiring and electrical diagnostic equipment OR be willing to obtain electrical skills through a technical school certificate or training program chosen by ADC
- Must have experience with hand tools, power tools, and tools required to assemble structures and mechanics
- Organization and keeping easily understood digital records are essential to this position
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time with a heavy workload required
- Beginner Microsoft Office Skills required
- Service-oriented skills required
- Preferred 3D CAD Skills (AutoCAD or Solidworks), T-slotted aluminum extrusion assembly, robotics skills/warehouse experience
- Warehouse Management System experience preferred
- Pneumatics experience is preferred
- Degree or field-specific certifications are preferred
Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
